Love the Carlin, RIP, videos. He was such a classic. One of his best pieces was Baseball vs Football. I think you might enjoy that. Plus I like your music Reactions. Here's some that you might like: The Three Tenors- New York- New York. Jesse Cook-Tempest(careful it might make you want to dance), Mario takes A Walk. Big Mama Thornton-Hound Dog. Elvis-Burning Love. ABBA-Waterloo. John Lee Hooker-Boom Boom. Janis Joplin-Another piece Of My Heart. Ozzy-Miracle man(cool video). Peace
" I dont believe anthing the government tells me. Zero " lol. I could my sentiments exactly.. I love it..love your reactions.Sometimes cracking up laughing, other times seeing you shocked but you Get it lol.. You could say V that Carlin made you a fan of his and you made me a fan of yours lol : ) I love your channel..freakin copyright bs. I wish I knew those laws..
Another legend in comedy that help George Carlin get his big break was the late Lenny Bruce.... literally died for the right of free speech and inspired people like Carlin, Pryor ,RedFox, Dangerfield, and many many more if it wasn't for him we would not have the comedy or music we have today
wrathfang you are mistaken. WE let them bomb Pearl Harbor. It was a way into the war and the government KNEW us citizens would back a US attack. No worries. Everyone wanted to go to war because of that!
Hey V, thanks for the reaction as always. I know he has many approaches to humour, and some routines you like better than others. Next up: I wan't you to react to:
George Carlin on language of politics
George Carlin - Doesn't Vote
George Carlin - Germs
George Carlin - List of people who ought to be killed.
I am very aware of Mr. Leary and remember his "I'm an asshole" music video. :) I remember that like it was yesterday. I should find some of his videos and add it to my list so I don't forget. Thanks for the reminder. Did you see him in the firefighter show? :) That was great!
I have always thought George Carlin to be one of the most effective comedians of truth ever. Truth is something that many people tend to want to take in subtle, soft, and indirect doses for the most part when it comes to unpleasantness. That was never George's way. He always spoke it in as plain, direct, and as abrasive as possible to make us all think. This was one of his most outrageous examples of George being George and it was great.
I think I know you well enough by now to understand how some of this was a bit too much for your comfort. But you handled it with style and class, dear V. My utmost respect for you, dear soul.
I don't think George Carlin is abrasive at all if you compare it to the acts of war and violence.
Some Babymetal fans are taking a moment out of their day tomorrow to have a moment of silence and contemplation or a prayer of peace (Suzuka/Su-metal of Babymetal is from Hiroshima and clearly pro peace): https://www.reddit.com/r/BABYMETAL/comments/94nojj/suzukas_request_for_a_silent_prayer_of_peace/
Geez, T, you know me so well!!!!!!!!!!! You are a good reader. Thanks for saying I handled it well. I never want to leave a reaction flat but sometimes I'm left speechless! Much love to you. You've been here for over a year and a half. How crazy is that?
Thanks for doing more George. React to George Carlin’s People who oughta be killed, have a nice day, traffic accidents I keep moving, baseball vs football, the entire seven dirty words, and any other George Carlin’s stuff you find. I think you would enjoy George Carlin dubbing Thomas the Tank engine.
This video of Carlin was 20-25 years ago. Think about this. What George says about the news and media focusing on our differences rather than finding what we have in common... still going on, and a more poisonous dialogue than ever before than it was then. It's really sad.
George could get pretty filthy at times, but usually with a purpose... unlike some so called comedians who think cussing for an hour is comedy.
Although I never have cared for when George got pissy about men. Women have started wars, and done some pretty terrible things in history. He's really being sexist, acting as if females are any less capable of atrocity.
Plus, bullets and missiles are shaped that way because of aerodynamics, nothing psychological about it. It's all down to physics.
That wasn't the first time he said it though. There's an earlier version of this bit where he says the same thing about their shape, but doesn't know what that has to do with it.
Plus, the joke simply doesn't work if what he's saying is nonsense. Satire only works when it's rooted in truth. If square bullets and missiles worked better, they'd all be square. There is nothing psychological about it.
Carlin spilling truth wrapped in comedy, again. Still true, today. Bush started an illegal war in Iraq, then sent troops and bombs into Afghanistan to fight the Taliban (which is fine), but also to steal precious minerals from the Afghani people. Then, Obama decided to send troops and bombs into 4 more countries, because military action in only two countries wasn't enough to sate the desires of the weapons manufacturers who need wars to profit from. Tragic that 'the land of hope and freedom' kills people and puts our troops in danger for the profit of men who donate money to both our Republican and Democratic leaders in Washington.
Love ya, V. Sorry I missed your message about the discord chat, earlier. I'll have to add it so's I can join in. I've really enjoyed the live feeds that I've caught. Interacting with others who enjoy your videos is quite cool & your moderators do a great job sweeping out the trash. Now, I have to run the video again because I can't type and listen at the same time; I'm only a man ;p
Um when you do the reaction of that dumb and dumber link, please pretend that you don't even know what is going to happen because by doing that it will bring out your reaction even that much better. i so cannot wait lol.
The internet is a sea of valuable information of all accumulated human knowledge where we can delve into any subject known to man and learn every single detail about it without leaving our bedrooms. If used properly, we can all become nuclear physicists and create a Utopia of quantum power where the monetary system becomes void because we do have all the knowledge and technology as humans to satisfy all our human needs while preserving the planet’s natural resources and without any wars. It’s all there at our fingertips. But you’re idiots. We are all idiots.
As hip-hop remains a staple in our society, we continue to appreciate the artists behind this broad genre of music. While Biggie and Tupac represent the best of hip-hop excellence from both coasts, we also remember these two as humans beings, just like the rest of us. With that comes personality, charm, and, of course, a good sense-of-humor.
Today, with the ever-changing nuances of technology and the Internet, rappers can express themselves and their senses of humor in ways far beyond that their music. Whether it’s a GIF, a tweet, a meme, a Snapchat — there’s never a bad time to insert comedy into any given situation. When it comes to music videos, Lil Dicky sets the bar high with “$ave Dat Money,” which clocks in at over 84 million views and counting. Aside from his undeniable talent behind the mic, LD effortlessly reveals a career in comedy is at his fingertips.
