The List is a women’s lifestyle site, with a twist. We pride ourselves on being original, well-researched, and without sugar-coating, but no topic is beneath us. We tackle everything from reality TV (we’re a bit obsessed!), to finding love, to living a healthy and happy life. Every video you watch is either a personal experience, advice from an expert, or meticulously sourced, so you know you’re getting info you can trust, from women who get it.
F all these, marketing is art of brain washing the consumer into thinking they are getting the best brands. Hence people put themselves in debt just to acquire these brands. Shop pragmatically. You forgot to Rolls-Royce etc. So. Much waste of money.
PLEASE at least learn the correct pronunciation of the brand names, you're making a fool of yourself. And I'm sorry, but Veuve Clicquot is by far better than 100% of sparkling vins and better than 95% of Champagne (the real one from France) in terms of quality and taste. But then again, it's a question of taste and training.
Rolex actually is a brand that worths the money because most of the designs you see are either pioneered by rolex or made perfect by them. It is the company with the most iconic watches, and often being "homaged' (copied) by even bigger brands. Also, rolexes in good condition and with the original papers tend to hold lots of their value (even more of it if they are collectible) meaning that if something happens and you need money instantly, it is guaranteed that you get at least 50% of its value back at any time. This does not even happen on PP watches which are even more fine!
The comparison between cosco and Tiffany is wrong. Tiffany is expensive because there products are limited, you are paying for AAA quality a unique product. Cosco has there merch mass produce. And they mostly come from Asia. Tiffany by the other hand they’re using stones that where naturally extracted, that’s a huge difference. In China, jewelry market has lots to say. And please don’t make me start with Rolex. Rolex are timepieces, maybe there designs are very comercial, and may have tons of lookalikes, but in the end you are paying for the real thing. Not a copy. If you say omega is better, I can agree only with sport line of watches. If you wanted compare Rolex I recommend AP or Cartier. These 2 brands are some of the finest in the fashion industry.
This is just my opinion. I may be wrong, I ain’t god to tell ya what to believe.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year
People still think there's such things as rare materials and fine materials. Everything is the same, they own different companies and change the label. it's allllllllllllll a scam. But if working hard to waste then go do
+El Narcotraficante I mean that diamond companies have a monopoly over the stash size and the world is widely uncultivated. Diamonds and gold were used to sell to the population under the pretense of being rare to increase it's value and be sold for love in the diamond industry and gold in the upper class groups. There's still so much gold and diamonds just laying around.
There are rare materials lol what are you talking about? Sure things like small diamonds or gold are not as rare as the industry wants you to think but rare materials not existing is a ridiculous claim no offense tho
No, I'm just not an insecure idiot. Why should I waste my money on luxury brands when I've managed to stand out, earn status, and achieve my accomplishments with clothes for 1/2 or even 1/10 of the price? Insecure kids and hypebeasts focus on brand, real men focus on style and personality
Rolex is good did you know they don't let a Rolex out of a factory unless it has extremely presice timing. 2nd of all there value goes up incredibly high about 700-1,000 dollars each year. 3rd of all rolexes are very durable, which combines with its high markup value meaning if you have one for half of its entire lifetime and want to sell it, it might be double the price YOU paid for it. Omega not so much. Overall this means rolexes are worth each penny and maybe even more. Like its like having a house but each year you get money just for having a house.
i own a Montblanc men's walet for ten year's now still looking brand new !!!! , ALSO A ROLEX TWO TONE SUBMARINER , IN 2014 $13,947 , NOW $17, 000 AUD €18,300 MORE EXPENSIVE IN EUROPE , EURO 12,4000 ,CONVERSION $ 20,000 AND NOW MY WATCH IS 5 YEAR'S OLD AND IT' LOOKS BRAND NEW , PS ROLEX ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN FOUNDRIES TO MAKE THEIR OWN GOLD !!!!! WHY BECAUSE I CAN PASS THIS WATCH DOWN THROUGHOUT THE GENERATIONS , OMEGA !!!!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU START TALKING ABOUT LUXURY GOODS
While I agree that Montblanc likely enjoys a markup based on their name and brand alone... Saying “A regular pen will do just fine” is a huge, hyperbolic leap that insinuates a cheap ballpoint pen is an equivalent alternative. It skips over the part where there’s an entire spectrum of pen materials and craftsmanship. A platinum-lined pen, even if considered overpriced, will never be the same as a Bic...but I digress. 🤓 (Sincerely, A Fountain Pen Nerd)
okkkk but no one asked u to buy louboutins and stuff, some people like the fashion and the quality despite the prices because they aren’t cheap. people don’t recognize it but if ur going to buy like an LV bag, it’s never gonna be old and crusty like a “cheap” MK bag or whatever. No one would ever throw out an LV bag, so don’t bring up quality over price and be jealous that other people are buying stuff they like😂
I went to Mikimoto, and the salesman allowed me to go upstairs. He showed me pearls the size of a baseball. The luster on these huge pearls were so lustrous, your eyes will pop! They were not for sale though. Very beautiful though.
I've never worn luxury brands, but I've still earned status in my environment because of my accomplishments and because I focus on style rather than brand. The only people who focus on luxury are insecure show-offs and fake rich people
If you are agree to this video, you actually can get many designer watches and bags somewhere, they will just cost you couple of hundreds and you will get something damn close to the original one. To be honest, they are high and replica, I would recommend you here: africanbeast com
Rolex make timepieces that hold their value ever since. That’s not from a hype, but from a quality and respect they’ve earned. Anyway, if you really love any of these targeted brands and have legal means to afford them, then go for it. Videos like this aren’t really for advice, but rather to reassure those incapable ones who are filled with resentments and jealousy 🤷🏻♂️ fact!
Honestly, people don't even realize only the people who don't have money and who are pretending they do buy Louis Vuitton. I was raised in a wealthy and classy household, the true luxurious brads are Hermes, Chanel, or Dior, LV never occurred to me as fancy.
Mont Blanc has some problems. As the company is putting a focus more on fashion than pens.
I had a pen from the 1960s and it was great, but newer pens are the same thing. The new designs are fragile and at one time they hired a Chinese counterfeiter to teach them how to make a better quality pen again.
If you want a super great and awesome pen there are any number of manufacturer out there doing cutting edge stuff.
As for Louis Vuitton I got my sister a bag from the factory for $50.
if you dont understand high end brands, dont buy them. but rolex submariner that sold new 20 years ago is worth more now than it was new then, same thing for many louis vuitton items. when you check into a hotel with vuitton luggage and get special treatment, or write with a montblanc pen, it makes you feel special. i dont hear you talking about rolls royce or bentley
people buy these brands because brand recognition ans status simbol. the value of the brand itself is that a lot of people know that that brand is expensive. it's stupid and followed by people with too much money and too little indipendent thinking. i do buy expensive clothing but i prefer buying from brands hat are new and not recognisable, form them i get the quality i'm paying for and things bought from them last sometime a decade.
The internet is a sea of valuable information of all accumulated human knowledge where we can delve into any subject known to man and learn every single detail about it without leaving our bedrooms. If used properly, we can all become nuclear physicists and create a Utopia of quantum power where the monetary system becomes void because we do have all the knowledge and technology as humans to satisfy all our human needs while preserving the planet’s natural resources and without any wars. It’s all there at our fingertips. But you’re idiots. We are all idiots.
As hip-hop remains a staple in our society, we continue to appreciate the artists behind this broad genre of music. While Biggie and Tupac represent the best of hip-hop excellence from both coasts, we also remember these two as humans beings, just like the rest of us. With that comes personality, charm, and, of course, a good sense-of-humor.
Today, with the ever-changing nuances of technology and the Internet, rappers can express themselves and their senses of humor in ways far beyond that their music. Whether it’s a GIF, a tweet, a meme, a Snapchat — there’s never a bad time to insert comedy into any given situation. When it comes to music videos, Lil Dicky sets the bar high with “$ave Dat Money,” which clocks in at over 84 million views and counting. Aside from his undeniable talent behind the mic, LD effortlessly reveals a career in comedy is at his fingertips.
