Watching you crack up, cracks me up. But, what is the deal with this male and female stuff? It's okay to say men and women. Otherwise, I might think you're talking about dogs and cats driving cars! Come to think of it, I have seen dogs and cats driving cars, right here on You Tube!
So, in the future, could you be a little more specific regarding what species we're talkin' about here? Thanks in advance.
Don't you just hate when people do that? Thanking you in advance? I mean, it's rather presumptuous, isn't it? You're gonna do what you want no matter what I say anyway.
P.S. All in good fun. You're adorable! I think your husband is a very lucky man.
If I may make a suggestion, stick with George's earlier stuff
( more stuff!). He goes all the way back to the 1960's (!). So, there's plenty to choose from. His take on baseball verses football comes to mind, if you're into sports.
Anyway, thanks for your very prompt reply. I am now your newest subscriber.
P.S. As George got older, he just got too cranky, for my tastes, anyway. TTFN!
This was new to me, I was actually thinking this yesterday when walking to the store, It was like playing alive pacman around people who doesn´t care, only one of like 300 was ready to move his directction.. do people really have no respect to others to think 5 seconds further? or is it just me not smoking for 5 days?
bike signals are a thing, an arm 90 degrees up is a right turn while a straight out arm is a left turn. but i just ride on the sidewalk, if your tire size is i think 26'' or less you can ride on the side walk legally in canada. but most people ride in the bike lane or they stay close to the curb like you are supposed to do
i can relate with George Carlin about people driving say like in todays world where people can't seem to put down there Smart Phones wen there driving because they think that what there texting or twitting about is way more important then driving..........
Drivers that annoy me:
The driver that has a tiny car, yet needs 25 feet to turn around a corner at 3 mph.
The driver on the phone that wanders all over the highway like a pinball.
The driver who hits the accelerator on a yellow light. (Always look both ways, even on a green light)
The driver who is going way below the speed limit in the left lane. THE LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING ONLY. MOVE DAMMIT!
Drivers that STOP at a YIELD sign. Yield means to keep moving, but keep a lookout for cars JUST IN CASE you may need to slow down or stop. (Integrate like a zipper) Get it?
Drivers who try to pass on a solid line 2-lane road. (solid line means NO PASSING)
Impatient drivers who speed thru school zones. SLOW DOWN.
I can go on, but like to say I love that you're doing controversial comedians.
Keep up the good work!
When I drive I assume everybody is hostile and trying to run me off of the road. I drive a manual. My biggest pet peeve is when I let off the brake the person behind me is already trying to move forward and as a result, nearly rear ends me.
He missed the people on road trips that are going the same way as you, and once you notice each other twice it becomes a passive aggressive race to the East Coast. By the time one of you has to make a turn off it's like you know each other better than you know your kids.
You're a conscientious driver. Accidents happen. People trip and fall. It's just intelligent to give them room, especially if you consider how your mind would be affected if you ever killed someone by accident, even if the mistake or slip was theirs. I drive carefully and alertly in neighborhoods because you never know when some kid might run out in the road. I've avoided hitting several people who weren't paying attention, in my lifetime. I've avoided a lot of accidents that would have been caused by other drivers who weren't paying attention, too. So, don't change your careful driving habits.
Amen to your way of passing people on the road. I do the same thing V. I have ever since I was behind a cyclist in the middle of rush hour traffic. She was holding me and like 14 other people up. So I gave her as much space as I could without hitting the car directly next to me. She then Flipped me off. I was soo mad I pulled over about 2 tenths of a mile down the road got out of my car and waited to see if she would approach me. She turned at the 1.5 tenths and went the other way. I was like yeah you better Turn. She was going to get a ear full from me.
V your laughing 3:00 cracks me up even more. It's great to see the younger gen loose it to this ole rebel from my.....eh.....semi generation. Teen during the "70's" there I said it..eh..typed it.
Love all of GC's vids, even remember him all calmed down on the Flip Wilson show. Not that's going wayyyyyyyy back.
His facial expressions killed me all the time over the decades of video concerts.
When I discovered this God among men 17 years ago, my life changed. I was in awe of how on point he was on everything he talked about. I swear Comedians are modern day philosophers. They make you see the world in a way most people wouldn't. Some are better then others. George Carlin for me was/is the Absolute Best. What I like about him is that unlike other good comedians Who have to bring race in to their comedy like say Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Carlos Mencia, and George Lopez, George Carlin stayed away from race for the most part. These comedians that bring their race into their comedy almost leave a whole portion of their audience out of the show. If you're not African American then you get lost listening to Dave or Chris to a certian degree. If you're not hispanic then the same goes for Carlos or George L. George Carlin is different. He is a comedic philosopher/social analist. He brings up things we never think of, like how nonsensical airline anouncments are, or how society has gone soft with their capital punishments. He said once what the hell is wrong with electrocution, or crucifixion. All of these things his brain has thought of.
when I see people who "rush" or "speed out" when they see a yellow light and they still have a lot of space before getting to the intersection, I always say "either they have to do number 2 or just got called that they are doing a last will testament of Uncle Phil, who is the husband of the sister of your great great grandfather and need to get there ASAP." and when there is a non-stop traffic and you are forced to yield when you want to left turn, My Aunt ( RIP ) used to say "we got a hemorrhage ( or Diarrhea) of cars"............. and one time when I was like 12 years old I was walking with my sister in the shoulder of a road, and a car got like less than 2 inches from my sister, and since she was holding my hand, the car would have taken both her and me. also like 10 years ago, It was raining hard and i was crossing the street with the walk signal on and a car that was turning left and doing it kind of fast ALMOST hit me, I was just lucky that I sensed the car with my peripheral vision and stopped JUST IN TIME, also when I was in the last grade of junior high I got high school orientation by the class president, found out like 2 or 3 years later that her car got stalled in the inside shoulder of the freeway and ( remember that in the 80s there was no cell phones like it is right now ) and she decided to cross the freeway I guess to get to an emergency phone or a pay phone, and sadly she was killed.
Nice, it was fun watching your reaction :)
Can you react to another stand up he has about driving? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZUwNXfG2ys
Different jokes, he is a older, really sarcastic and to me, even funnier :)
And if you enjoy him and have time - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1c04M7JfuK8 . Amazing piece about food advertising lies:)
I know where George is coming from! My absolute favorite are those people that have to walk in the road when there is a perfectly good side walk for them to use and they have the nerve to give YOU a dirty look as you go passed them. Makes me want to go by, stop and put the car in reverse and punch it....just to add some excitement to their meaningless lives. (Insert evil laugh here)
The internet is a sea of valuable information of all accumulated human knowledge where we can delve into any subject known to man and learn every single detail about it without leaving our bedrooms. If used properly, we can all become nuclear physicists and create a Utopia of quantum power where the monetary system becomes void because we do have all the knowledge and technology as humans to satisfy all our human needs while preserving the planet’s natural resources and without any wars. It’s all there at our fingertips. But you’re idiots. We are all idiots.
As hip-hop remains a staple in our society, we continue to appreciate the artists behind this broad genre of music. While Biggie and Tupac represent the best of hip-hop excellence from both coasts, we also remember these two as humans beings, just like the rest of us. With that comes personality, charm, and, of course, a good sense-of-humor.
Today, with the ever-changing nuances of technology and the Internet, rappers can express themselves and their senses of humor in ways far beyond that their music. Whether it’s a GIF, a tweet, a meme, a Snapchat — there’s never a bad time to insert comedy into any given situation. When it comes to music videos, Lil Dicky sets the bar high with “$ave Dat Money,” which clocks in at over 84 million views and counting. Aside from his undeniable talent behind the mic, LD effortlessly reveals a career in comedy is at his fingertips.
