SHOCKWAVE GAMES WILL NOT FREEZE WHEN YOU USE MOZILLA FIREBIRD!! (Except Lego Studios Backlot after level 1)
I finally figured out how to get through Boge Attack and the Sewer Sectors without the game freezing! It took me several hours to finish the entire game in one sitting... Kick back and enjoy the nostalgia-show.
Heads up: Boge Attack will NOT freeze -- It CAN be completed in Mozilla Firebird, but a Shockwave error will eventually appear shortly AFTER the mini-game is completed when least expected. However, the solo version of Boge Attack with the credits at the end will NOT cause a Shockwave error. Therefore, Boge Attack is best avoided when playing Galidor Quest in its entirety.
Galidor Quest is an online adventure/RPG game from Large Animal Games and the Lego team that features characters and locations from the Galidor television series (Aired on ABC Family and Fox Kids. Original release: February 9, 2002 – August 24, 2002).
The game is set in 4 different realms, each featuring a host of characters and challenges. Players design their own character and develop that character by completing tasks, solving puzzles, and challenging other characters. In its first 6 months, the game was played by over 200,000 registered LEGO users.
For those who don't know, Galidor Quest was released in April 2002, and the 4th realm was added in Oct. 2002. Galidor Quest was taken off Lego's game page in 2003, then Lego removed the Galidor website in 2004. Galidor Quest was mirrored onto Large Animal Games in 2005, whom removed their original games in August 2012, including Galidor Quest. It was mirrored again to Brickshelf in 2011, then mirrored in 2014 to BioMediaProject, along with many other classic Lego games after Brickshelf's Galidor Quest had been removed.
Adobe kinda let go of Shockwave compatibility from 2012 - 2015. As a result, the game freezes when you enter certain areas or mini-games. However, I learned that Shockwave/Flash games perform the way they should on Mozilla Firebird.
