Ever wonder where those popular child actors are now? Here’s a look at what they’ve been up to.
You might recognize this face from the ever popular Home Alone movies. This was back in the peak of his fame, when he was considered the most accomplished child star since Shirley Temple. Culkin was just ten years old when he started playing the role of Kevin McCallister, and retired from acting at age 14. Since then, he has appeared on The Jim Gaffigan Show where he has played himself in seven episodes.
This recognizable face is from Jerry Maguire, Stuart Little, and The Little Vampire. Lipnicki took a break from stardom to live a normal teenage life. He is not the same little six year old we used to know, Lipnicki is back and… buff. He now competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and from the photos, we can definitely say his hard work shows. We can look forward to seeing the now 25 year old in action as he has several movies in post-production this year.
It was in 2003 that this love struck kid starred in the romantic comedy “Love Actually.” He is now 26 and has stayed very active on screen over the years. He recently starred in Game of Thrones from 2013-2014, and was in The Maze Runner playing the role of Newt. We will be seeing him again in the sequel, The Maze Runner: The Death Cure coming in 2018.
Haley Joel Osment
You might remember this young actor for the famous line, “I see dead people.” At the age of 11, Osment had an outstanding performance in ”The Sixth Sense,” for which he was nominated “best supporting actor”. Osment, now 28, has been working on the TV Movie, Future Man, among others that are currently in post-production.
This young star began her acting career at the age of 5, and her talent was immediately recognized. She was in numerous films including “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Taken,” and “I Am Sam,” for which she received the Best Young Actor/Actress award from the Broadcast Film Critics Association at the age of 8. We’ve watched Fanning grow up in the Hollywood eye. Now, at age 22, we are excited to see the upcoming movies she’s starring in including, “Viena And The Phantomes,” “Brimstone,”, and “American Pastoral,” all coming out later this year.
