5 Inexpensive Heartfelt Valentines Day Gifts for her
1. Mix CD
Create a mix CD with some great songs that speak your feelings and you could have her heart forever! Maybe record a personal message and put it at the end of the cd? And don’t forget to photoshop or decorate some cool cover art! Remember, Love is in the details!
2. Bake a love cake (cupcake)
The gospel says: the fastest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. But I believe that statement is just as true with women. Haha whatever the case, we all can’t deny a cupcake. Especially if it’s made with love! And if you lack in the cooking department, great! That shows more about you! Just have your momma help and give you a hand.
3. Make a Card
A homemade card is a great way to show your affection for your girl. Supplies are cheap! Use construction paper, felt, rubber stamps, stickers, etc. Once you are done decorating your card be sure to write a sweet genuine letter on the inside.
4. Bookmark in a book
Buy her a book you know she will love and create a bookmark from scratch. Make sure that however you decorate the bookmark that it comes from the heart. Maybe pictures or a nice poem on it… Then go to Staples, laminate that sucker, and put it inside the book when you give it to her.
Get a great meal together, put it in a picnic basket and don’t forget to grab a nice blanket. And if you really want to capture her heart, wait till its night time. I remember I took Bre to Sunset Cliffs on one of our dates. It’s this set of cliffs that overlook the ocean here in California. I pulled out some Martinelli’s Apple Cider (since we don’t drink alcohol) and an electronic candle to set the mood! It was perfect and she absolutely loved it with her meal.
